ALL SAINTS CHURCH THE TOWER/SPIRE…work has now finished on the installation of some louvres to help keep the rain out and bird netting. The Architect & English Heritage have stressed that these are only holding repairs; at least a further £35-50,000 needs to be spent on top of the £30.000 already raised for the current works. English Heritage is concerned about the whole building and would probably offer funds to do the work. This would be a huge project and we don’t have anyone willing to take on this work.
