Draft MINUTES OF MEETING OF BUCKWORTH PARISH COUNCIL HELD On Monday 22 July in Buckworth Church

PRESENT CLLRS COOPER , MRS WARRENER, MRS MORRISON , CLLR DAVISON, WATERHOUSE. No members of the public were present

1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE none

1.1 OPEN FORUM This will last for 10 minutes. Members of the public may ask question or raise points on items on this agenda or, for inclusion at the next meeting. Council Members may speak concerning items for which they are declaring a prejudicial interest. Once the meeting starts, members of the public are reminded that they may not speak. – There were no members of the public present.

1.2 COUNCILLOR’S INTERESTS To receive from Councillors declarations as to personal and\or prejudicial interests and the nature of those interests in relation to any Agenda items. See also flow chart from HDC, a copy of which has been given to each councillor for reference purposes. None declared

2. MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING held on 22 July 2013 were approved and signed as a true record.

3. MATTERS ARISING
a. Telephone and letterbox painting. The painter has primed and Cllr Morrison to chase up to finish the job

4. AGENDA ITEMS
a. Appointment of clerk – it was agreed to advertise the post in the Parish Pump and through CPALC. Cllrs. Cooper and Morrison to arrange

5. Clerk’s Report – A member of the public had visited the Acting Clerk to view the Minute Book and the Standing Orders.

6. FINANCE & GENERAL PURPOSES
6.a Financial Report . Cllr Davison as RFO circulated statement of current financial position. There were no cheques for signing
6b Confirm dates of next meetings - 2 September and 14 October, both in the Cricket Club

6c A parishioner had been in contact regarding the grass cutting on the straight road. Cllr Waterhouse to advise to contact Streetscene direct at Cambs County Council.
